Our
coordinators for Backpack Buddies have organized ways to distribute the
food items to students at McGee’s Crossroads Elementary and Dixon Road
Elementary. Food donations for this need have increased due to the
school system being closed. Please leave those items in the Joy Class
Sunday School Room. The West Johnston Food Pantry is also in greater
need of donations and those items can be left in the Library at church.
JCPS
is currently putting together a food bus system to get food into the
areas of highest need for their students. They have also set up curbside
grab & go meals for students & siblings 0-18 at 13 different
schools.Johnston
County Public Schools is looking for volunteers to help with
distribution/donations/etc. You can use this form to sign up/see more
