[MembersAndFriends] Church Sign Needs Adult Back-up Volunteers

Happy New Year!  As we begin a new year, WMPC needs renewed committees and
volunteers for various small and large tasks.  I know we have the "spirit"
and the "gifts" to do all that we can for our church and for the Lord. 
 
When the Session meets on January 22 we will approve the marketing
maintenance of our beautiful church sign.  
 
Chris Eldreth and the Youth JAM have all offered to be our sign keepers with
announcement guidance from the new clerk (to be determined Jan 22).  They'll
plan to change the sign on Sunday afternoons before they meet.  It's a great
opportunity for our youth to serve.  
 
They have asked for adult back-up in the event instant (24 hour) sign change
is required. So we are asking for two, able-bodied adult volunteers to be
back-up. 
 
Job Decription
Person requires a tad of upper body strength to lift the glass cover and set
it on extension rod to hold the glass open. Person needs some physical
flexibility to crouch down and kneel under the extended glass to change the
letters on both sides of sign. Helpful if person can take message from Clerk
via email or is a good speller for phone messages. Helpful if person is
creatively flexible to change "M" into "W"  or vice versa or can compromise
and use 6 P instead of 6:00 P.M. when letters are depleted.

your church and serving the Lord simultaneously.
