Greetings,

 

Many of you may already know about "Phishing", but due to increased activity
I thought I would alert you to the danger.

 

Phishing is a term used for an identity theft attempt via eMail.  I have
received several attempts in the past few months. The most recent appears to
come from a "Regions Bank" requesting you to click on a link to verify some
information.

 

Do NOT click on the link or anywhere in the body of these type of eMails.
The entire body of the eMail is often a link to a web site that will request
personal information and install a virus on your computer.
